Our Team
Mark started Merki and Associates with his partner, Marty in 1993. Mark was raised in Denton and is a proud graduate of the University of North Texas. He is happily married to Debbie and has two children. In addition, he prepares individual, corporate, and partnership income tax returns.

Marty has been an accountant for over 20 years and founded Merki and Associates with Mark in 1993. Marty is a proud graduate of Texas A&M. Marty prepares individual, corporate, and partnership income tax returns.

Michael started with Merki and Associates in 2000 right after his high school graduation. He worked with Merki and Associates though his undergraduate and graduate degrees, and stayed on with Merki and Associates following the receipt of his Masters.

April originally worked for Merki and Associates as a student from 1995 to 2000 and then returned to Merki and Associates in 2007 after leaving Deloitte. While at Deloitte she specialized in working with International individuals and had an opportunity to complete a 2-year assignment in London.
